All Players Answer at the Same Time!
This is the perfect game to introduce new vocabulary and sharpen your students' listening skills.
The Target Language 🤔
Question: Are you ____ing ____?
Answer: Yes, I am! / No, I'm not!

Set Up 😀
1. Put all the blue cards, face down, into one pile. This is the Dealer/Teacher pile.
2. Give each player 7 cards from the remaining cards.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that all players answer simultaneously, this will encourage even the most quiet student to speak up!
How to Play 🎯
1. The dealer shows the top card from the Dealer pile, asks "Are you reading a book?" and then puts the card face up, in front of him/her.
2. All players answer at the same time.
✔︎ One or more matching cards: Say, "Yes, I am!" and place your card(s) face up in a stack.
✘ No matching card: Say, "No, I'm not!"
3. The player who puts down all cards first, wins the game! 🏆
!! Players who put down all their cards, must still continue answering "No, I'm not!" until the game is over.

💡Tip 1 For very young learners.... Use only 4 cards per player!
💡Tip 2 For beginners.... Instead of answering the questions, the players repeat the Dealer and add "Yes" or "No" , depending on if they have a match or not!
