THE TOPIC CARDS

😊 FIRST THINGS FIRST!

Although the 80 cards at first glance may look like regular flashcards, they are far from that.

They are the "Building Blocks" that help you teach your students in a fun and easy way, what happens to verbs when you change the subject and/or the verb tense...

There are 16 different Topic Cards, and each of these 16 topic cards comes in 5 different (border) colors:  Orange, Blue, Pink, Green and Purple.

Each Topic Card comes in 5 colors

🤨 WHY 5 IDENTICAL CARDS?

The reason why there are 5 cards with the same topic is to give younger learners more chances to use and listen to the target language during a game, so they can internalize it faster and deeper.

And more advanced students can apply up to 5 different grammar patterns to each topic during a game. Which will greatly improve their English Conversation and Listening Skills.

🤨 WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE BORDER COLORS?

The border colors correspond to the "Color Code Cards" which are used for practicing Questions, Pronouns, Verb Tenses and more.... You can find more about those on the Color Coded Cards page.

😊 ALL THE GAMES can be played without using the Color Coded Cards, which is great for beginners.

But, if you want to get the most out of LMQ (and your students), then using the Color Coded Cards is the way to go.
